Misha has had a prolific career as a food & beverage consultant over the past 15 years.
Misha holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce and a post-graduate degree from Symbiosis. She brings together all the different moving parts of the business to execute every amazing project.
You can find the past clients’ acknowledgements here. She was recently named one of the best food & beverage consultants in India by EagleOwl (one of India’s leading restaurant software companies). She manages the award-winning bar at the prestigious Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) in Bangalore. She is also a partner at Fat Cat Pizza which has a cult-like following in Bangalore.
Misha is passionate about hospitality, especially the bar industry.
Misha started her career with Hard Rock Café and Shiro before taking up her first assignment as a consultant for Jayamahal Palace Hotel in Bangalore. Since then, she’s set up several places such as Toit, Prost, Via Milano/Hokey Cokey, Zero40, Drunkling, Salut, Atomic Lab, Karnataka Golf Association, Aurum Brew Works, PappaRoti, and many more. From creating layouts, equipment BOQs, cost management, food and bar menu curation, SOPs and training staff on processes, etiquette and knowledge, Salt & Pepper does it all.

HEAD - CULINARY OPERATIONS

Puja is the Head of Culinary Operations at Salt & Pepper.
In the last two years, she has curated & executed menus focusing on the following cuisines: modern India, modern Asian, traditional Asian, Italian, Italian-American, Continental, modern ingredient-forward, seasonal, and more.
Puja graduated at the top of her class from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and Cornell University, where she was on the Dean’s list. She completed a Master’s degree from the University of Buckingham and graduated with distinction.
She has worked with well-known veteran hospitality organizations like Conrad Hilton (New York City), Starr Restaurants (Buddakan, New York City), Marriott (JW Marriott, Mumbai) and MENU Pte. Ltd. (Brewerkz, Singapore). At the CIA, she co-founded the first Indian students’ association that enabled the staff and students to learn more about Indian cuisine and culture.
Having extensively travelled across the Americas, Europe and Asia, she has gained precious knowledge about food and hospitality. She is also a published author, and is currently working on her second book.
Puja has also lived in 13 different cities, exposing her to different cultures and cuisines. She is particularly passionate about sharing her food experiences with others. She shared her skills with advanced-level students as a Lead Teaching Assistant at Cornell University.
